Potential viewers may drive by your house before they decide whether to view and if looks messy and dirty, they may lose interest. You could be losing out on viewings and offers, so it’s worth tidying up the front, clearing away weeds and old leaves, tucking away rubbish bins, and cleaning the front door and windows.

Add some colour
It’s so quick and easy to make your home look welcoming – both on the inside and outside – by just adding some plants and flowers to the garden and inside the home.

Do a spring clean
You need to view your house as a potential purchaser will – tidy, clean, and clutter-free homes will always make a better impression. So, see if you can have a clear out, a deep clean, and find a home to tidy all the extra items away

Lighten and brighten your property
A lick of paint could be a good investment – dark colours can really put off some people from even viewing your home and can make a room look much smaller than it really is. If you’re keen to sell quickly, consider repainting certain rooms in a more neutral colour, and have a good look round for stains, damage, and broken parts that you could sort before your viewings. As they say – you get one chance to make a first impression.
