What can I say … an unbelievably busy and hugely productive week last week.

The staff have been pushed to the limit as we have safely eased out of lockdown, agreeing 18 sales and instructing 26 new properties to the market for the sales team last week.

Lettings also report a great month with 32 move ins.

We are certainly dealing with pent up demand for those clients that have had to sit on their hands for the last 3 months and we have also come back to a whole new lot of movers that may have not considered moving if it hadn’t been for the time they have spent during lockdown; movers that have decided their home is too big for them, too small for them, their homes are too isolated for them and even those people who have enjoyed the weather that much they have reconsidered their work life balance and have decided to move to something smaller and buying abroad.

Understandably there is still some reluctance to view and as a result we have found our property videos to be extremely popular. May be this is a temporary spike or maybe this is the market for the foreseeable future, of course nobody can say what the future holds, but what the smarthomes team can say is that we are experiencing a very very busy market at the moment.

In closing I would like to thank all of the staff for their hard work and all of our clients for their patience and appreciation to our new measures that we have put in place.
