In addition, the local train station at Whitlock’s End offers a regular service to Birmingham and Stratford-upon-Avon.

Property prices in Dickens Heath are much more affordable than in neighbouring Solihull. A typical 4-5 bedroom detached house in Dickens Heath costs an average of £590,000 while in central Solihull this jumps up to £619,000.

Schools

Dickens Heath Community Primary School was established in 2002 and currently has an Ofsted rating of Good. Children leaving the primary school usually go to the highly regarded Alderbrook Senior school, with others also attending Tudor Grange, St Peters and Woodrush – all incredibly good and popular schools.
