TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The promoter is: JHS LTD T/A SMART HOMES (company no. 3591917) whose registered office is at 316 Stratford Road, Shirley, West Midlands, B90 3DN.
2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom of all ages, except employees of JHS LTD T/A SMART HOMES and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
3. In order to enter this competition, you need to complete the process of selling your house through JHS LTD T/A SMART HOMES.  This means that an exchange of contracts has taken place and completion of the sale concludes.
4. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
5. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

7. Closing date for entry will be 31/10/2018. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
9. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

If you sell a house using JHS LTD T/A SMART HOMES before 31/10/2018, you will be given an invitation which acts as confirmation of your entrance to the competition.  On 18/11/2018 you will be invited to attend the prize ceremony at LOCATION TBC, where your invitation will be exchanged for the chance to select a key from a fixed number of keys.  If your key opens a ceremonial door, you are the winner of the CAR.  If you don’t win, the key is added back to the pot to ensure that everyone has the same odds of winning.  If nobody selects the correct key

10. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
12. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
13. Winners will be invited to a public ceremony on 18/11/2018, to select the winner:

When completing a house sale with JHS LTD T/A SMART HOMES during the stated period, you will be given an invitation which acts as confirmation of your entrance to the competition.  On 18/11/2018 you will be invited to attend the prize ceremony at LOCATION TBC, where your invitation will be exchanged for a random key.  If your key opens the door, you will win the car.  Only one key will open the door.

14. If you do not attend the prize ceremony on the date stated, and within the time allocated, your entrance to the competition will no longer be valid.
15. The promoter will then arrange for the car ownership to be transferred to the competition winner.
16. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by [English] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England].
18. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

20. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to JHS LTD T/A SMART HOMES and HOTLOBSTER DESIGN LTD; not to any other party. The information provided will be used for the purposes of this competition only.
21. JHS LTD T/A SMART HOMES decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition process will be entered into.
22. JHS LTD T/A SMART HOMES shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
23. JHS LTD T/A SMART HOMES also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
24. All entrants have the right to withdraw their consent for this competition and request that all personal data held, is deleted by JHS LTD T/A SMART HOMES and HOTLOBSTER DESIGN LTD, at any time before 31/10/2018, by emailing glenn@hotlobster.uk.com.
25. All entrants have the right to request a copy of the personal data held by JHS LTD T/A SMART HOMES and HOTLOBSTER DESIGN LTD; and to ask the purpose for holding the data, where and when we collected the data, and when the data will be deleted.
26. All data held by JHS LTD T/A SMART HOMES and HOTLOBSTER DESIGN LTD, for the purposes of this competition, will be deleted prior to 31/12/2018.
