COVID UPDATE: Back to Plan A

Last month saw the Government announce that we are now out of the Plan B COVID precautionary measures.

This means that people won’t need to show their COVID passes at events, working from home is no longer necessary, and face coverings are no longer legally required – apart from on public transport in London.

However, some organisations are still requesting that their staff and customers do continue to wear face masks, such as Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.

At smarthomes we have decided to ask our staff to continue to wear face masks for a little longer, just to provide our clients with the peace of mind that we take their health and safety seriously. Our staff are in and out of people’s homes every day, providing valuations, taking photos and videos, measuring up, and advising our customers about selling or letting their properties. In these enclosed spaces, dealing with lots of different people, we feel it’s the right thing to do. But hopefully it won’t be long before we can all show our smiling faces again!
