smarthomes launches Land and Commercial Division

A new year sees the start of a new division at smarthomes, headed up by local property professional Simon Cable.

Simon joins the smarthomes team after working for over 15 years in commercial property, at two of Birmingham’s leading commercial property companies – Christie & Co, a business transfer agency, and Fleurets Chartered Surveyors and leisure property specialists.

Simon, Head of Land and Commercial, and Jamie Smart, founder of smarthomes, go back a long way, having both worked together in the early ‘90s at Dixon Dobson and Carver. Simon commented, “I’m excited to be on board with such an impressive estate agency who is renowned locally for their knowledge, customer service and enthusiasm. I’ll be bringing those same attributes that smarthomes are so well known for but focused exclusively on land development and commercial opportunities. I’ve a wealth of experience in selling freeholds and agreeing new leases for a range of retail and leisure businesses and look forward to working with local independent businesses who need useful advice, new ideas and practical support.”

The aim of the new Land and Commercial Division is to deliver a service that offers:
